I'm a mother who started writing books when my mother passed away at the age of 93. She inspired me to write something of a memoir about her life as a nurse in post-war Britain, then I found I enjoyed also writing about the supernatural. I've always been intrigued with the afterlife, and whether it really exists, and if angels and demons really do surround us. Certainly, I believe there is an element of the dark and the light in each human, it just depends which path we choose to take in life.
I live with my husband, two huskies and a tabby cat who will be 20 years old in September!
Please do join the book club and you will receive a short-story. I'm currently writing the second book of the Nancy Flanagan Chronicles, Legacy, which takes the story of Nancy and her daughter Maeve into completely new territory.
